  We are redoing the deck behind our house so that can add up to be a $4000-$6000 project. I called the Mount Forest store and was put on hold for 7 minutes. I thought maybe they forgot about me, it happens so I hungup and called them again then they left me on hold for 23 minutes before I hungup. They didnt even pick up and say anything like "we know youre still there we are really busy in the store can we get your number and we will call you as soon as we get a chance". I drove by the store and there were only 3 vehicles in the parking lot. Well you just lost my business. The cashier at the Shelburne store was able to answer all my questions about lumber and price and tools and supplies and paint within 6 minutes without needing to be put on hold in the first place.

  Visa card number and close the account and he refused to take the card as well. I had to drive to Mount Forest and pay cash. Marty Young did not appreciate my business ! I made a big mistake using Young's Home Hardware for the addition and will certainly buy elsewhere from now on!

  Very poor inventory management. Every time we come to purchase renovation material, we pre pay, only to go to the yard and find the items we paid for are not in stock. This means having to complete a return and get another invoice for another comparable item, and then go back out to the yard to load it up. This has happened EVERY visit (over 10 visits); as such I have formally complained to management.

  I walk in the other day to hand in a job application will let me tell u the works where just rude and the once the manager came down the back he did even brother look at my application so I kindy ask the manager why I did not get the job and he point blank said u have to meany tattoo people don't like that and plus my hair is dye like u kidding me
